I have been looking at my Facebook Feeds and found this amazing natural technique of how to get rid of headaches. I’m going to give it ago. Since discovering Chiropractic adjustments, I became against all of the drugs – so last 4 months I have been drug free completely! The adjustments helped me with any headaches I had. However, since I have moved to Amsterdam, I don’t have a luxury of having the chiropractic adjustments everyday, so need something different. I will keep you posted on my progress by using this technique – and you just have a read too and share with anyone, who suffers from migraine or headaches!

Natural Therapy For Headaches!
In about 5 mins, your headache will go…….
The nose has a left and a right side.
We use both to inhale and exhale.
Actually they are different.
You’ll be able to feel the difference.
The right side represents the sun.
The left side represents the moon.
During a headache, try to close your right nose
and use your left nose to breathe.
In about 5 mins, your headache will go.
If you feel tired, just reverse, close your left nose
and breathe through your right nose.
After a while, you will feel your mind is refreshed.
Right side belongs to ‘hot’, so it gets heated up easily.
Left side belongs to ‘cold’.
Most females breathe with their left noses,
so they get “cooled off” faster.
Most of the guys breathe with their right noses,
they get worked up.
Do you notice, the moment you awake, which side breathes better?
Left or right ?
If left is better, you will feel tired.
So, close your left nose and use your right nose for breathing..
You will feel refreshed quickly.
Do you suffer from continual headaches?
Try out this breathing therapy.
Close your right nose and breathe through your left nose.
Your headaches will be gone.
Continued the exercise for one month.
Why not give it a try…..a natural therapy without medication.
And hey… been doing this for last 5 minutes – while posting this and answering my morning email – and it totally worked! Will keep doing it, in case it’s just my unconscious making me forget the headache 😉
Just stumbled across this wonderful recipe for ice cream sandwiches. I have been making raw banana spinach ice cream this summer, but this is something extra special! Although I don’t think you need a juicer for blending the frozen bananas – I just simply use my hand blender for that part. The full recipe can be found here:
Moving to a new place can be stressful. Especially if you are used to a certain food shops and you don’t know where to start looking for some ingredients in the new city/country.
Since coming to Amsterdam (and that was just 5 days ago!) I tried to look for the nut/dried fruits in the local supermarkets. Lidl offers some usual mix of nuts and dried fruits and AH (Albert Heijn, the most popular supermarket chain in NL) has similar items but with quite high prices. And nobody could offer me unroasted unsalted cashew nuts! And no dried dates! How will I make my awesome RAW Strawberry cheesecake without them?!
But my NUT problem was solved today! While looking for key makers in the area, I found this little Cafe-style shop called ‘David’s Coffee & Nuts’. It sells the wide selection of nuts and dried fruits, makes their own Peanut Butter (with different additions like chocolate!), home-made cakes, coffee beans and – for Dorianas’ delight – ice cream! The owners of the shops are amazing, they gave us to try they amazing peanut and cashew butters and some types of nut mixtures. There is also a small outside cafe, where you can have a slice of home-made cake and cup of freshly made coffee. I had a nice chat with shops owner about my raw cake and he was very interested to try it out. So I might made new friends! 🙂
Follow for some news about my discoveries in ‘David’s Coffee&Nuts’ shop!
So here I am! Decided that it was time to start this blog. I have been interested in healthy eating for a while now and have encouraged all my family and friends to follow me, sharing recipes, advice and tips. And due to my recent relocation to Amsterdam, I have decided to keep working on my mission (haha :D) and share these recipes and tips via blog!
Coming up with the name of the blog was the trickiest part. FM Diana has been my business username, as I work with FM Group company. And as I logged in to WordPress with my email, the automatic system suggested me FMDiana as my blog name. At first I have disregarded this name due to this blog being personal rather than business, but then I thought – FM also means FREQUENCY MODULATION, the little two letters which stands before radio station name. And then I had this flashback of my late grandfather Jonas, who used to say that because of me talking so fast I should be working in the radio (and he loved his radio!!)… That was one of the reasons I have decided to have a degree in Journalism too 😉 Anyway, all this made me think that FMDiana is not necessarily has to be related to my business, it can be my little radio station where I pass all the information to you guys (and store my best recipes online – much easier than looking for them in any book!).
And with that I just would like for you to bear with me, until I find all my previous recipes and most important tips for being healthy and feeling great. Those who already know me, I’m not following any strict diets, I’m just taking the best from everything. It’s not really about losing lots of weight, but I will share my experience on that too. I think that most important bit about eating is choosing the healthier options and swapping the bad habits for the better ones 😉 And of course – doing it in the most simplest way. Because life is way too short to spend too much time in the kitchen and worrying about it all the time.
Hope you will enjoy this blog and please comment on the recipes and my ideas, I want to know your opinion!
